How to Make an Appointment
In the case of a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit our Emergency Department at 57 Prospect Street, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Urgent Access is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Urgent Access is located in the Anderson Building at 57 Prospect Street. No appointments needed.
Free at-home COVID testing kits are available at the front desk of the hospital and at the front of the Physician Practices office.
Scheduling Options:
Option 1: Use the virtual Patient Gateway on your computer or mobile device to request an in-person appointment, communicate with your doctor’s office, check lab and imaging results, view, update and renew medications, receive a summary of your visit and pay your doctor’s bill online. Enroll in the Patient Gateway by clicking here or at your next doctor visit. Once you are enrolled, download the Patient Gateway App for iPhone or Android.
Option 2: Call 508-825-1000 to reach the Nantucket Cottage Medical Group to schedule a primary care or specialty care appointment. Phone lines are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Urgent Access, located in the Anderson Building, does not require appointments – walk-ins only.
Option 3: Through Mass General Brigham, Nantucket Cottage Hospital offers convenient, high-quality virtual urgent care services for many health conditions and minor injuries. If you are an established Patient Gateway patient, log-in to your Patient Gateway account and look for “Virtual Urgent Care On-Demand” under the “Find Care” menu option. If you are not a Patient Gateway patient, please create a Patient Gateway account to make a virtual appointment.
To be treated at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, you will need to be registered with Mass General Brigham. If you have received care at Nantucket Cottage Hospital in the past you are already registered. If you have not, please by call 866-211-6588 to register.
