Hilary Busick, PT, DPT, CLT

Hilary Busick, PT, DPT, CLT is one of Nantucket Cottage Hospital’s year-round physical therapists who, prior to her healthcare career, was a professional ballet dancer for over 25 years. Hilary earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. Hilary is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist who specializes in the treatment and management of lymphedema affecting different parts of the body, as well as other related conditions. Hilary has extensive experience treating patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas including post-operative, orthopedics, performing arts medicine, recreational and collegiate athletes, geriatrics, pediatrics, and neurological disorders. Hilary is also an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Credentialed Clinical Instructor.

Hilary aims to practice an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to treatment, with a strong emphasis on therapeutic exercise, postural stability, functional manual therapy, movement training, patient education, and self-empowerment. Outside of the clinic, Hilary enjoys staying active by swimming, practicing yoga, and exploring the numerous walking paths Nantucket has to offer.
