More importantly, they could save your life. Through a partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital, our cardiology clinic brings some of the finest specialists in the region to Nantucket. Dr. Joseph Garasic, the medical director of MGH’s cardiac access unit, sees island patients at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on a monthly basis. Our diagnostic imaging services, including heart and vascular ultrasounds, MRIs and CT scans, are often part of a cardiovascular evaluation and are read remotely by some of the finest radiologists and echocardiographers in the world at MGH.
