Nantucket Cottage Hospital’s visiting neurologists provide consultative services, diagnostic testing and treatment for chronic neurological conditions and diseases. We bring the expertise of world-class neurologists from Massachusetts General Hospital and other premier hospitals to Nantucket, giving island residents access to exceptional care without the burden of traveling to the mainland. Dr. Donald Marks, who is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth, anchors our neurology program and travels to Nantucket monthly to see island patients. Dr. Karen Kerman, a pediatric neurologist affiliated with Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Rhode Island, also makes quarterly visits to Nantucket.
