eCheck-In Coming to Nantucket Cottage Hospital
Nantucket Cottage Hospital is making the process of checking-in for an appointment easier, more private and streamlined through our new eCheck-in feature.
Beginning Feb. 23rd, 2020, patients can save time and conveniently check-in for their upcoming appointment from their mobile device or computer by logging into their Partners Patient Gateway account up to seven days in advance. This feature applies to all scheduled appointments at NCH, including at the physician clinic, Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy, Imaging, Infusion, and Dialysis.
(more…)NCH Launches TeleSANE Program to Enhance Care for Sexual Assault Victims
Through a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Nantucket Cottage Hospital is now able to link victims of sexual assault or abuse with nurses specially trained in medical forensic care in the immediate aftermath of such incidents.
Nantucket Cottage Hospital is one of six hospitals in Massachusetts to launch a TeleSANE program, which connects hospital clinicians and sexual assault patients with certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) through innovative video conferencing technology.

Better Hours. More Access.
The Nantucket Cottage Medical Group has expanded its same-day and next-day medical appointments to include Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon. Patients can book a Saturday appointment starting on Friday morning.
These appointments are designated for everyday ailments and non-life-threatening conditions and are available to all patients on a first-come, first-served basis inside the new hospital at the physician practice area.
To book a same-day or next-day appointment, please call 508-825-1000. Saturday appointments begin booking on Friday morning.
Monitoring coronavirus
Clinicians at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital have been closely monitoring the spread of a new coronavirus – first detected in Wuhan City, China last month – which has sickened hundreds and killed a number of people. Additional cases are being identified in a growing number of countries internationally, including the United States. 91 percent of all inpatients at Nantucket Cottage Hospital reported that they were “likely to recommend” the hospital to friends and family during the last quarter of 2019 in which data was available. This exceeds both the state and national averages.
