Dr. Joseph Garasic is an attending cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, who provides outpatient consultative cardiovascular care at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital year round. Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Garasic has studied and lived in Boston since 1986. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Boston University School of Medicine, he completed post graduate training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine and Intervention at Harvard-affliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Garasic has been on staff at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2001, where he serves as Director of Peripheral Vascular Intervention and Medical Director of the Cardiac Access Unit. Dr. Garasic provides outpatient consultative cardiovascular care at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, and has admitting privileges at Massachusetts General Hospital where he provides in-patient acute care.
