Goodbye and Thanks to Charlene Chadwick!
Nantucket Cottage Hospital is saying goodbye today to one of the longtime members of its clinical team, nurse manager Charlene Chadwick.
After 29 years at NCH, Charlene is stepping down from her position as manager of the hospital’s outpatient infusion services, dialysis and infection control, to complete her master’s degree in nursing administration, and spend more time with her family.
Charlene leaves NCH with an extensive record of clinical excellence and accomplishments, including the founding of the hospital’s oncology program in 1991, a service which has grown extensively over the years. Charlene has also supervised NCH’s infection control and employee health programs, working across hospital departments to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Thanks to Charlene for all her years of service to NCH and the island community! Best of luck in your future endeavors.
