David Lieberman, MD, joined the NCH team as one of the island's newest full-time, year-round physician, specializing in adult primary care. Dr. Lieberman completed his medical school prerequisites at Columbia University, before attending medical school at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Sarah Russell, MD, joined the NCH team as one of the island's newest full-time, year-round physician, specializing in adult primary care. “I find it appealing to practice small town medicine, with access to the resources that come with the relationship with a larger hospital network,” she said about coming to NCH. Rick Phelps, MD, joined the NCH team in 2024 to provide general urology services to Nantucket patients, such as vasectomies and endoscopies. He sees patients on Nantucket an average of two days per week. Click to read more.
