Medical Interpreter Services
The trained medical interpreters at Nantucket Cottage Hospital lend their expertise to assist patients and families who are Limited English Proficient (LEP) or Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) patients. In addition to having 0n-site interpreters for Spanish-speaking patients, Nantucket Cottage Hospital has a partnership with Cyracom, an interpreter service that caters to over 200 languages.
Committed to providing the highest quality of care, our interpreters provide accurate and complete interpretation services. All interpreters support the Nantucket Cottage Hospital community in the delivery of culturally competent care and facilitate access to hospital services for non-English, limited-English-proficient, or Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients.
Guided by the needs of our Limited English Proficent (LEP) and Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) patients and families, we aim to foster patient-centered care by delivering the highest quality, compassionate interpreting services with flexibility, in a timely and professional manner.
