Kate Hews, DPT
Kate has spent her career as a physical therapist working primarily in orthopedics. She has experience working with a variety of ages and diagnoses including shoulder dysfunction, rotator cuff repairs, sports injuries, lumbar and sacroiliac joint pain, ACL repairs, balance and gait impairments, osteoarthritis, and scoliosis. Kate has experience with functional movement assessments, kinesiotaping, manual techniques, and exercise prescription. She enjoys creating individualized treatment plans to facilitate transition back to daily activities and sports following injury.
Kate graduated from University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s Degree of Health Science in 2009 and with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. She has worked in a variety of clinics and hospitals throughout the east coast. In her free time she enjoys cooking, taking exercise classes, shopping, hiking, golfing and long walks on the beach.
