Whether you need nutrition counseling for weight loss and wellness, or advice for adhering to medical diets related to heart disease or diabetes, look no further than Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Our registered dietician Suzanne Davis offers customized nutrition counseling, and is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. Davis is available by appointment to help you meet your nutrition and weight loss goals, and monitors all of our inpatients with dietary restrictions. For those recently diagnosed with diabetes and trying to understand carbohydrate counting, carb to insulin ratios or any other dietary issues, Davis is available to help.

Staff Spotlight

Wendy Turbini, Chef

Nantucket Cottage Hospital chef Wendy Turbini is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has more than 40 years of cooking and restaurant experience. On Nantucket, she served as the executive chef at the Jared Coffin House for 10 years, and also worked as a chef at her husband’s butcher shop. “I’ve been here for 10 years and am delighted to be a part of the team, Our team in food services features fresh local produce generously donated by Moors End Farm and our kitchen garden.”
