Immunizations & Vaccines

Protect your family -
Protect our island community

Overview

Vaccines are among the most important medical tools at our disposal to protect ourselves, our children and our community. They are safe, effective, and readily available at Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Immunizing your child against vaccine-preventable diseases can save your family time and money, but most importantly, it could save your child’s life and the lives of others who may be unable to receive vaccinations. At Nantucket Cottage Hospital, our family physicians and consulting pediatricians can explain the benefits of vaccinations, and get your child on the appropriate immunization schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Please contact your primary care physician for more information and to get your family members up date with their immunizations.
