SurgeryAccepting New Patients
“To me, there's no place like home, and to me home is the islands and their ocean beaches. The ultimate satisfaction for me is helping these communities by providing my surgical skills for their needs. Seeing your patients on the streets where you live is a uniquely rewarding experience. Humbling to be sure, and not for everyone. But I can't imagine it any other way.” Island Staff Member

My Expertise

I've been Board Certified for 25 years this March, and 23 of those years have been continuously in the field of advanced laparoscopic surgery, and trauma surgery. I was fortunate to be in an academic position at the University of California from 1992-94, at the "dawn" of laparoscopic surgery. It has been, and continues to be, my entire career's pursuit.
